About ten years after the introduction of the F-12, which was very successful, Volvo came in 1988 with the new F-16 model packed with state-of-the-art equipment. Thanks to the heavy-duty chassis, this tractor has excellent transport capacity. In addition, it boasts low fuel consumption, high travel convenience and a reliable and powerful engine that has made it the top in the heavy-haul category. The 6-cylinder turbocharged 16-liter turbocharged engine with an intercooler had a power output of 465 hp at 1200 rpm. The Volvo F-16 has been well-equipped for long-distance heavy-duty transport. From the different versions sold by Volvo, our model is a variant of a two-axle high-cab truck (GLOBETROTTER).
