The John Deere 6R 250 is one of the most powerful tractors in the 6R series. The heart of the tractor is the modern 6.8-liter six-cylinder John Deere PowerTech engine, which reaches a rated power of 250 hp. Using the Intelligent Power Management (IPM) system, the maximum power can increase to approximately 275 hp (202 kW) during transport and tillage work.
