Super light modeling putty ready for use on balsa, plywood, expanded polystyrene and glass laminate. Easy to apply, dries quickly; it is ground and processed like balsa. It dries without shrinkage; ideal for making fills and transitions. Compatible with most paints, varnishes and coating foils (if in doubt, first test the sealant on a piece of material).
Color: balsa color
Use
- Clean the sealed area with a brush or vacuum cleaner.
- Stir before use. If the sealant is too dry, add a few drops of water and mix. Too much water can cause shrinkage after drying.
- Apply the sealant with a plastic spatula or spoon. Close the container carefully immediately after use.
- Wash contaminated surfaces, tools and hands with soap and water before the sealant dries.
- After the sealant is completely dry, sand with a sandpaper until smooth. Avoid breathing dust when sanding. Always use a respirator.
- The curing time depends on the thickness of the applied layer. Thin layers (up to 1.5 mm) can be sanded after 15 minutes, thicker layers allow to dry for 1 hour or longer.
- If the sealed area needs to be strengthened, simply saturate it with KAVAN (PRO) thin instant glue.
Suitable for sealing: balsa, chipboard, plywood, metal, expanded polystyrene, glass and carbon laminates.
