Tamiya 58650 MF01X VW Beetle Rally

This R/C model recreates the classic Volkswagen Beetle in the form of rally racing. Thanks to its extraordinary reliability and uncomplicated maintenance, it was a fixture on the global rally circuit from the 1950s to the 1980s, and this model is inspired by just such rally Beetles. The VW body sits on the proven Tamiya 4WD MF-01X 4WD chassis, which is at home on a range of surfaces from road to flat dirt.

• 1/10 scale R/C model assembly kit. Length: 397 mm, width: 163 mm.
• The model uses a 239mm L wheelbase.
• The body is made of polycarbonate. The bumpers and side mirrors are recreated using separate plated parts.
• Including front lights and rally style decals.
• Includes Rally block tires.
• The MF-01X is at home on the road or on flat surfaces thanks to its 4-wheel double wishbone suspension.
• Power from the rear engine is transmitted through a gear differential to the rear wheels and via a drive shaft to the front.
• Chassis can be assembled into S and M wheelbases using propshafts sold separately.
• A range of Hop-Up Option parts are available to tune the MF-01X chassis.
