The Ford Bronco is a model line of sport utility vehicles produced and marketed by Ford. Ford has released its sixth-generation Bronco for the 2021 model year, after a 25-year hiatus from the Bronco nameplate. The styling is reminiscent of many elements from the 1966–1977 series.
The Badlands trim level is the off-road model of the Bronco Sport line. It's powered by a 2.0-liter four-cylinder Ecoboost gasoline engine that produces 245 hp. The engine is mated to a rotary-controlled eight-speed automatic transmission (the Badlands is the only trim level in the Bronco Sport range to get the higher-output engine). It adds features such as two additional "GOAT modes" for the four-wheel drive system and all-terrain tires and unique aluminum alloy wheels on the mid-level Big Bend trim.
