At the Geneva Motor Show in 2007, he introduced the Lamborghini Gallardo Superleggera. The Superleggera is lighter than the Gallardo base by 100 kg due to the use of carbon fiber panels for the rear diffuser, bottom, rear view mirrors, interior door panels, central tunnel, engine cover; titanium wheel nuts and carbon fiber sports seats. Engine power was increased by 7 kW (10 hp), thanks to improved intake, exhaust and ECU for a total power of 390 kW (523 hp). Six-speed gearbox E-Gear was standard.
