    CALDERCRAFT Alte Liebe harbor tug 1931 1:25 kit

    For almost thirty years until 1960, the steamer Cuxhaven "Old Love" was part of the everyday ship in port. It was used for daily work in the port for emergency assistance, as a fire boat and a lifeboat. Their triangular steam engine had an output of 360 horsepower, the crew consisted of 1 captain, 1 mechanical engineer, 3 heaters and 6 sailors.

    The model was reconstructed from original drawings and historical photographs of interior design with the participation of former crew members. The completely detachable upper part is so wide that access to the inside of the fuselage is very easy. Installation of a steam engine in a hull with a large volume is completely hassle-free.     The kit is richly equipped. Gorgeous laminate hull with all the details, embossed plywood parts, ship deck with all kinds of metal details. Even parts for the interior are part of the set. The kit also contains plans and a construction manual
