TRX racing engine 3.3

The TRX® 3.3 racing engine draws on 14 years of engine production and is thus tuned almost to perfection. This is the most powerful Nitro Traxxas engine ever. It produces 60% higher peak performance compared to TRX 2.5. The Nitro TRX 3.3 racing engine offers full-blooded racing performance with smooth acceleration.

Transmission

The RC model car Traxxas Jato is equipped with an automatic two-speed transmission. This solution provides maximum acceleration and speed without compromise. The shift point can be set to fine-tune the model to your needs.

Exhaust silencer

The aluminum muffler is precisely designed and tested for the TRX 3.3 racing engine. The result is linear power that delivers acceleration, maximum speed and excellent RC model sound.

Electric star RC car Traxxas EZ Start

The revolutionary starter for Traxxas EZ-Start internal combustion engines means the end of laborious pulling of the starter cord, charging of glow, etc. The EZ-Start starter consists of an electric motor that spins the crankshaft of an internal combustion engine via a gearbox and a one-way bearing. The outlets from the engine and the glow plug are led to the connector to which the external Traxxas EZ-Start unit is connected. The EZ-Start external unit consists of a NiMH battery and a stabilized source for powering the glow plug. Starting is simple and perfectly functional - with one button. Of course, there is protection against engine overload and indication of a faulty glow plug.

Axles and suspension

The key to the perfect driving characteristics of each model is the suspension and suspension. The RC model Traxxas Jato is equipped with extended arms that increase stability. Driving dynamics in the terrain is further enhanced by the long stroke of the oil dampers, which dampen every jump.

Low profile tank

The construction of the low-profile tank with a volume of 75 cc ensures higher pressure and fuel flow when the fuel level in the tank changes. Rubber mounts minimize vibration, which foams the fuel mixture.

Front and rear stabilizer

The front and rear torsion stabilizers ensure that the Jato 3.3 maintains maximum stability by reducing the load and rocking of the model. In addition, the torsion bar increases traction and steering response.

Racing tires

Anacondas racing tires are equipped with a specially modified rubber compound, which is characterized by long life and provides excellent grip on smooth surfaces. Specially shaped foam inserts with a directional tread ensure a firm fit of the tires on the discs even at high speeds.

Bellcrank control

The control is provided by a fast digital servo with an integrated servo-saver. The modified axle geometry always guides the wheels in the required direction, regardless of the level of suspension.

Traxxas Stability Management

The Traxxas Stability Management (TSM) system not only allows you to experience power, speed, acceleration and cornering at extreme speeds, but also guarantees much easier driving and control on slippery surfaces such as dust, smooth concrete or even ice and snow.

The receiver has a MEMS 3-axis gyro and an accelerometer, which evaluates the movement of the model about 100 times per second and corrects the direction of travel of the model with suitable interventions in the steering of the front wheels. Traxxas TSM does not limit engine power - you have 100% control over engine power. The algorithms are tuned for each model separately. The level of assistance is set using the multifunction knob on the transmitter or in the Traxxas Link application.

Fuel

The Traxxas TRX 3.3 combustion engine can be run on fuel with a nitromethane content of 10% to 33% after running-in. For normal riding, we recommend a fuel with a content of 16% - 20% nitromethane depending on the nature of the track surface and the race. A lower percentage of nitromethane is suitable for races with an On-road character, for off-road races there is a better fuel with a higher nitromethane content. A lower percentage of nitromethane also means easier engine adjustment and less engine wear. However, after daily driving, it is always necessary to apply after run oil to the engine, which protects metal parts of the engine from corrosion caused by nitromethane residues, and regularly apply oil to the air filter - we recommend using H-Speed air filter oil. For commissioning you need 4AA batteries for the transmitter, batteries for the receiver - 4AA batteries for the receiver or NiMH battery then, oil for engine conservation, oil for the air filter and fuel.

Accessories for normal operation

For normal operation of the Traxxas RC car, you need screw glue, quality tire glue, silicone shock absorber oil and a set of screwdrivers. From our range we recommend an affordable set of tools for cars ..

The screw glue drips the thread or the head of the screw, which fixes it and the vibrations caused by driving do not allow the screw connection to loosen. The screw adhesive has a special composition that allows the screw connection to be easily loosened with a reasonable torque without damaging the screw head. Never use ordinary instant glue, it could be impossible to loosen a screw glued in this way at all! From our offer, we recommend a medium-strength Fusion brand adhesive / p>

The tire glue adheres the tires to the rim of the disc. It is always necessary for the tire to be firmly glued to the wheel rim around the entire circumference! If the tire is not stuck around the entire circumference, it may rupture. The tire adhesive has a special composition that is able to bond materials such as rubber or nylon, and at the same time, after hardening, the adhesive is flexible. Never use ordinary instant glue - it is not flexible after hardening and cracks in the tire would gradually form around the rims! We recommend Tire Glue from our offer - see recommended accessories.

Occasionally it is necessary to add silicone oil to the model's shock absorbers. During normal operation, there is only a slight leakage of silicone oil along the shock absorber piston rods. If the surface of the shock absorber piston rods or the condition of the seals is in poor condition, the oil leak may be large. For these cases, so-called repair kits are supplied. In the range of tuning parts, piston rods with an extremely hard TiN (titanium nitride) coating are supplied with all shock absorbers.
