Type-S is the new PROTOform racing body with high downforce wherever more grip is needed, the Type-S is the perfect aerodynamic solution. With ultra-precise steering characteristics and excellent rear axle grip, the balance is unmatched by any other body on the 190mm electric touring RC model market. Extensive testing by a world-class team of drivers has proven that there is no track surface that the Type-S body can't handle: ETS carpet, outdoor or indoor tarmac, even the new high-grip black CRC carpet.

Since PRO-Lite bodies are now the standard for indoor carpet racing, the overall stiffness of the body has been strengthened. Reinforcements have been added along the hood, A-pillar and trunk bed to provide rigidity even in the thinnest parts of the material. A small spoiler on the dashboard lid also increases the stiffness and grip of the rear.

To finish, you need to paint the bodywork. Lexan bodies are always delivered as a semi-finished product intended for carving and painting. First of all, you need to cut out the body nicely, to make the holes for the wheels as round as possible, bent lexan scissors will help you. For flat surfaces, we also offer lexan straight scissors.
When choosing colors for the polycarbonate body, you need to be careful that you buy a real spray for lexan, e.g. H-SPEED Spray for lexan 150ml white, it has a special composition so that it sticks to the body, the colors are flexible and resistant to peeling and cracking even with the biggest impact.
Before painting, the body must be thoroughly degreased, most manufacturers recommend washing the body with spring water. After degreasing, use masking tape from the inside of the body, e.g. 24mm masking tape to create the design of your choice, or apply the masking stickers supplied by the manufacturer to the windows and lights.
It is important to know that Lexan bodies are painted from the inside, which makes the body resistant to abrasion. Varnishing should take place best in rooms with room temperature. Individual colors are applied in at least three layers, it is important to apply the color from a sufficient distance, at least 15-20 cm.
