The Ford® GT is one of the most amazing road cars ever designed, and PROTOform is proud to bring it to 190mm touring cars for USGT class racing.

From the ultra-low stance, through the tear-shaped cockpit, to the unprecedented "side wings" on the b-pillar, the Ford® GT is great. PROTOform captured every detail of this mid-engine sports car, which captured the GT class victory at the 24 Hours of Le Mans in 2016 and the 24 hours of Dayton in 2017 and 2018.

This officially licensed body is suitable for 1:10 car models, with propositions to fit under the body of the front and rear shock absorbers. Ford® GT's distinctive side fenders are attachments that can be attached with the included accessories or high-strength double-sided tape. The new lighter material reduces the center of gravity of your USGT and improves response.

Sold as a clear and unpainted body. The picture of the painted body is only for displaying details. There is no vehicle chassis in this product.

To finish, you need to paint the body. Lexan bodies are always delivered as a semi-finished product intended for cutting and painting. First of all, the body needs to be nicely cut out, and the curved lexan scissors will help you to make the wheel holes as round as possible. For flat surfaces, we also offer straight scissors for lexan. When choosing colors for the polycarbonate body, care must be taken to buy a really lexan spray, eg H-SPEED lexan spray 150ml white, which has a special composition so that it is etched into the body, the colors are then flexible and resistant to peeling and cracking even in the event of the greatest impact. Before painting, the body must be thoroughly degreased, most manufacturers recommend washing the body with spring water. After degreasing, use masking tape from the inside of the body, eg 24mm masking tape to create the design of your choice, or stick the masking stickers supplied by the manufacturer on windows and lights. It is important to know that lexan bodies are painted from the inside, so that the body becomes abrasion resistant. Varnishing should preferably take place in rooms with room temperature. We apply individual colors in at least three layers, it is important to apply the color from a sufficient distance, at least 15-20 cm .
