Standard quality of the large model

The ARRMA MOJAVE GROM 4X4 1:18 RTR is designed and built to the same high standards, durability and performance you expect from ARRMA RC cars. It's just a little smaller!

Great look BAJA

Right out of the box, you'll be dazzled by the model's shape and body with driver and navigator figures, professionally finished from the factory and in bold color options that capture the unmistakable look of real Baja desert racers.

Clipless bodywork

The body is easily, quickly and securely snapped onto the chassis. The new one is without clips, which would have to be inserted into the holes and would damage the body during operation. This is a fastening system that can be easily mastered by all age groups.

Oil dampers

For brutal driving over obstacles, jumps and large bumps, the model is equipped with high-quality, oil-filled shock absorbers. If you want to equip the model with professional accessories, you can use tuning accessories and mount aluminum dampers on the model.

Place for the battery

On the left side of the chassis there is an excellently accessible space for storing the drive battery. A quick-fastening tape with Velcro ensures a secure fastening.

Buggy wheels

The drivetrain transfers power to durable dBoots Fortress wheels and tires. Driving characteristics are directly proportional to the quality of the wheels and especially the tires and tread. As with the large model, a proven compound and tire pattern is used here.

Powertrain

In the central part of the chassis is the center shaft that connects the front and rear differential. It has a direct drive from the engine using a pinion and main gear. At the end of the central shaft are the metal bevel gears for the differentials.

Differentials V2

The model is equipped with a version 2 front and rear differential, which includes improved internal gearing and a center cross. The drive train has metal gears for long life.

Driving a car

For reliable steering, Spektrum™ SX110 servo steering is installed with metal gears, which will ensure high resistance even in the event of an impact.

Car power unit

On the right side of the chassis is the drive unit, consisting of an ARRMA MEGA 380 28T engine with a massive cooler and an integrated 25A regulator with a receiver. A fan is now placed between the components for even more efficient cooling.

SMART charging

The Spektrum Smart 2S LiPo battery with IC2 connectors has the capacity for a long driving time. When it's time to recharge, just plug it into the handy Spektrum Smart G2 S10 USB-C charger. Safe charging starts automatically and takes about an hour.

Spektrum SLT2 2.4GHz transmitter

The Spektrum SLT2 2-Channel Transmitter is the perfect size for all drivers. It can help you learn to control the model safely by limiting the model's maximum speed to 50% or 75% until you are ready for full power. The package includes 4 AA batteries for the transmitter.

USB source

We recommend a powerful USB-C 45W network adapter to power the USB-C charger. With this source, you can achieve significantly shorter charging times compared to classic 5V USB sources (such as phone chargers).

To extend the driving time, we recommend purchasing an additional battery.

Accessories for normal operation

For the normal operation of RC models, you need tire glue, screw glue, a tool kit and silicone shock oil. We recommend an affordable tool kit for RC cars from our range.

Tire glue is used to glue the tires to the disc rim. It is always necessary that the tire is firmly stuck to the wheel rim all the way around! If the tire is not glued all the way around, it may tear. Tire glue has a special composition that is able to glue materials such as rubber or nylon, and at the same time, after hardening, the glue is flexible. We recommend Robitronic Tire Glue from our offer - see recommended accessories.

Sometimes it is necessary to add silicone oil to the shock absorbers of the model and change the oil in the differentials. During normal operation, there are only slight leaks of silicone oil on the piston rods of the shock absorber. In the event that the surface of the damper pistons or the condition of the seals is in poor condition, the oil leakage may be large. Repair kits or individual parts are supplied for these cases. For routine maintenance, screw glue is needed. Screws screwed into the metal material (e.g. screws in the motor, set screw in the pinion) must be secured against loosening with this glue.

Protective covers for accumulators

Protective packaging is intended to limit the risk associated with the transport and charging of accumulators. LiPo accumulators, while maintaining small dimensions and low weight, can provide high discharge currents and have a large capacity for a long driving time. Conversely, the LiPo battery is especially susceptible to mechanical damage.
