As the leader of the merchant guild, mine the mines, send your ships out into the world and hire the most talented artists. Build a business empire and attract nobles whose favor and unlimited financial resources will ensure your glory.
During the game, players earn tokens of gems and gold. With these tokens, they purchase development cards that give them prestige points and other bonuses. Bonuses then allow players to get additional development cards at a lower cost. Once the player has collected enough bonuses, they are immediately rewarded with a visit from a noble (which again brings prestige points). As soon as one of the players gets 15 prestige points, the current round ends and the player with the most prestige points is declared the winner of the game.
