Amewi RC Helicopter AFX MD500E 6G Stabilization RTF

The MD500 series helicopters belong to the category of light civil and military multi-purpose helicopters that can carry a maximum of four people. Since 1976, it has been developed on the basis of the Hughes 500 model. Today, Boeing manufactures three different models. The range includes the MD500E, MD520N and MD530F models.

The scaled-down replica of this famous helicopter is nothing compared to the original and is visually impressive thanks to many small details, such as rivets, indicated door frames, LED lighting and a five-bladed rotor head, which is made of aluminum. The swash plate and main rotor shaft are also made of aluminum. The leaf holders and tie rods are made of high-strength plastic and allow the movement of all components without play. The fuselage and landing gear of the helicopter are made of impact-resistant ABS plastic, which significantly increases the durability of the material.

The main and rear motors are designed as brushless and generate enough power for powerful and dynamic flight maneuvers. Built-in gyroscopic electronics stabilize the model in all positions and provide a safe flying experience that will delight even beginners. The hovering behavior resembles a coaxial helicopter. In normal flight, it functions as a helicopter with speed or pitch control. However, automatic stabilization immediately resumes when the remote control levers are returned to the center position. This means that no unpleasant surprises await you during the flight. The model is also equipped with our popular auto-start and auto-land system at the touch of a button. Different flight phases (beginner, advanced, professional) can be switched on the transmitter, which leads to different deflections of the servos on the swash plate and thus changes the sensitivity of the model. The helicopter also has an Attitude Hold system. The transmission system works in a safe and undisturbed 2.4 GHz band, and the model is also suitable for outdoor use thanks to its power and relatively low wind speed.
