Our popular Buzzard helicopter, in the redesigned V2 version, makes it even easier to get into helicopter flying with its new features. This beautiful, robust and speed controlled single rotor helicopter now has a new handy 2.4GHz mode 2 transmitter (switchable to mode 1) incl. many other functions such as Dual Rate (servo lift limitation) and Auto Start / Auto Landing. The model can be started automatically with the button on the transmitter, it climbs to the height of the base approx. 1-1.2 ma floats there in a naturally stable manner. The pilot can thus concentrate on basic flight characteristics such as forward/backward and right/left. If the model "drifts" slightly, this can be corrected with digital trims on the transmitter. In addition, the auto-launch function eliminates the "ground effect" of the helicopter as it rapidly climbs to its base altitude. Controlling the model at a low height is therefore difficult. Once the pilot controls the functions on the right side of the transmitter, he can concentrate on climb/descent and tail rotation. These functions are on the left stick. To land, simply press the takeoff/landing button on the right front of the transmitter again and the helicopter will gently descend to the ground and shut off the engine. Even during the landing approach, the helicopter remains fully controllable and the landing point can be controlled during descent. However, landing can also be done manually - simply step on the gas and hold it until the model touches down and the engine shuts down. Alternatively, manual take-off and gyro calibration on the transmitter is also possible. New is the replaceable battery, which now comes in a hard case with a USB charging port and a power outlet for the helicopter. Reverse polarity is no longer possible and battery replacement is much easier with the V2 version. Compared to its predecessor, the flight stability of the model was also increased again.
