    Klima D9-7 rocket engine for rocket models. Dimensions of the rocket motor o18 x 70 mm, impulse 20 N · s, average thrust 9 N, burning time 2.1 s, ejection delay 7 s. Motor weight 28.2 g, charge weight 17.2 g. The maximum recommended weight of the rocket model is 200 g.

    • The engines are supplied with electric igniters, which are ignited by an electric current. Ignition-free current max. 40 mA.

    • Optionally, standard torches can be purchased (order number KL-0014), so that Klima rocket engines can also be ignited with matches or a lighter.
    • Use only outdoors. Safety distance: 5 m

    Instructions for starting the engine with an electric torch

    Fully insert the starter (torch) into the interior of the engine so that the flammable mixture on the torch touches the inner wall of the propellant mixture. Use the self-adhesive wheel to secure the torch against falling out (the sheet is part of the package).

    Use high-quality alkaline batteries to power the starter. Conventional zinc chlorides are not able to supply enough current for reliable ignition of the torch. A current of approx. 1 A is required to ignite the torch!
