    The Estes Viking rocket model is for A and C series rocket motors. The Viking is a fantastic rocket with 48 possible stabilizer configurations! Stabilizer cutouts, decals and streamer. It flies up to a height of 518 meters.

    Difficulty building a rocket

    Building Difficulty 1 rocket models require some painting, possibly gluing and sanding. The models have parts made of laser-cut wood or plastic moldings, a plastic or balsa cone and high-quality decals. Assembling the model is easy thanks to step-by-step pictorial instructions. You will spend approximately one afternoon building this model rocket.

    More information about rocket engines can be found in the overview of rocket engines.



    For detonation, you need to purchase engines with burners and ejector plugs (used to protect the parachute). Engine burners and gaskets are included in the engine package unless otherwise noted. Estes engines are equipped with electric burners, designed to be ignited via the launch counter. The rocket can be equipped with Klima engines with classic fuses or electric burners. For a safe return of rockets, we recommend buying a spare parachute or streamer.

    Launch pad

    A ramp is required to launch the rocket. For small rockets, we recommend purchasing an Estes Porta-Pad II launch pad. We recommend the Estes Pro Series II ramp or the Klima 7611 ramp for rackets from medium size.



    For a carefree and safe launch of a rocket with an electric current from a distance of a few meters, it is advisable to also purchase a launch device, e.g. from Estes or Klima.
