Information about the template:
Known by several names, such as “San Felipe”, “El Real” or “Real Felipe”, the ship was named after King Philip V of Spain, the first monarch of the Bourbon dynasty in Spain. This three-deck first-rate warship was built in 1716 in the shipyards of San Feliú de Gixols. Its structure was extremely strong thanks to the double external and internal planking, which ensured great resistance to the hull. The scale of its construction, which, according to historians, used over 4,000 trees, contributed to the deforestation of Spain. With 108 guns and impressive dimensions – 67 meters long, 16.5 meters wide and 12 meters high – San Felipe, decorated with majestic statues, was a fearsome adversary capable of facing any enemy of the time. It entered service during the Sardinian expedition in October 1717 under the command of Squadron Leader D. Esteban Mari Centurione. She subsequently participated in the Sicilian campaign of 1718 under the command of Captain D. Pedro Despoix and Squadron Leader D. Antonio Gaztaneta e Iturribalzaga. After completing her mission, San Felipe was taken to Syracuse and then to Mahón, which was under British control. However, due to negligence, a fire and explosion occurred, completely destroying the ship.

Construction difficulty 3
Advanced ship model kits require previous experience in model building and mastery of the techniques of individual technological steps, such as gluing, bending, painting, sewing sails, etc. It is necessary to orient yourself in the drawing documentation, plan out the individual steps and the entire procedure. It is necessary to study any details and it is necessary to take into account that the construction requires a certain degree of creativity and independence, because the instructions do not necessarily deal with the production of every detail.
The models are extensive and detailed, taking a long time to complete and requiring a lot of finishing work on the parts.
We recommend buying
We recommend purchasing tools, glue and paints for construction.

Modeling tools and mat
To build ship models, you need the right tools. We recommend the excellent Modelcraft set of tools for ship modelers (set of 12) or the Modelcraft set of tools for modelers (set of 18). We also recommend purchasing nylon clamps and the indispensable model pins. We recommend a modeler's mat for trimming, precise cutting, gluing parts and also as a table protector.

Glue and paints
For gluing we recommend universal dispersion glue and Robitronic instant glue medium 20ml. For painting we recommend acrylic enamel paints. Apply paints with quality brushes (flat brushes for surfaces, round brushes for details).
