    The model is a comparable ship that was found near the village of Skuldelev in Denmark and is known as Skuldelev 2. The original was built mostly of oak wood around 1060 in Dublin. The ship was 30 meters long and 3.8 meters wide. The ship could sail with 60-100 Viking warriors on board and was propelled by a single giant rectangular sail or 60 oars.

    Modeling tools and pad

    Suitable tools are needed to build ship models. We recommend an excellent set of Modelcraft tools for ship modelers (set of 12 pcs), or Modelcraft tools for modelers (set of 18 pcs). We also recommend the purchase of nylon clamps and indispensable model pins. We recommend a modeling pad for adjustment, precise cutting, gluing of parts and also as protection of the table.

    Glue and paints

    For gluing, we recommend universal dispersion glue and Robitronic instant glue medium 20ml. We recommend acrylic enamel paints for painting. Apply the paints with high-quality brushes (flat brushes on surfaces, round brushes for details).
