The non-floating model COREL HMS Greyhound in scale 1: 100 from 1720 was an English ship launched on February 13, 1720 in Deptford shipyards. It was used in the fight against sea pirates. The plan is very detailed, the package includes wooden parts, moldings and a number of fittings, rigging, canvas for sails and more.
Little is known about its history at sea, but it can be assumed that the Greyhound was mostly used to fight sea pirates who operated around the shores of the Mediterranean. Unfortunately, the results in the fight against pirates were rather disappointing, extremely agile pirate ships, mostly with better equipment, could attack a cumbersome frigate and won thanks to better maneuverability. The period between 1600 and 1700 meant the gradual end of this type of ship.
