    Characteristics


    Mantua Model Titanic 1:200 set no. 2 kit in scale 1: 200 and length 1350mm. Titanic is the flagship of the Mantua Model line. A scale of 1:200 was chosen with a hull dimension of 1350 mm in length and 140 mm in width for the possibility of fine detailing. Titanic comes in two versions: static or RC. To give the modeler freedom of choice, the construction is divided into 5 parts. You can buy a complete set or individual sets according to your needs. The kit consists of 5 parts, the first is the hull and fore and aft decks, the second kit is the engine package for the installation of a functional drive , the third kit is the side panels of the hull, bow and stern windows, details and fittings, the fourth kit is the middle deck including the chimneys and the fifth is a complete set of fittings. Construction is generally of keel bulkheads with laser cut and etched wood details. Includes English instructions and photo details.

    Construction difficulty

    Only experienced modelers with many years of construction experience, who have a complete overview of the issue and have mastered all the technologies and work procedures for building static model ships, should start building ship models with the construction difficulty Expert.     Modeling tools and mat

    Building model ships requires the right tools. We recommend an excellent set of Modelcraft tools for ship modelers (set of 12 pcs), or Modelcraft tools for modelers (set of 18 pcs). We also recommend the purchase of nylon clamps and indispensable modeling pins. We recommend a modeling mat for editing, precise cutting, gluing parts and also as table protection.

    Glue and paint

    For gluing, we recommend universal dispersion glue and Robitronic instant glue medium 20ml. We recommend acrylic enamel paints for coloring. Apply colors with quality brushes (flat brushes for surfaces, round brushes for details).
