Why use ND filters?
ND (neutral filters) are filters designed to reduce the amount of light hitting the camera or camcorder chip. You can thus gain complete control over the light exposure to achieve the desired effects such as blurring the water surface, waterfalls, clouds, or preserving the natural motion blur in the video, which would otherwise be impossible to achieve without an ND filter.
ND32/PL filter
The ND32/PL hybrid filter helps reduce the shutter speed by 5 EV, for shooting in the strongest sunlight, especially in the morning and afternoon, while reducing distracting reflections on shiny surfaces such as windows or water surfaces. With this filter, you can also achieve a cinematic "motion blur" effect.
