Mirfak Audio NP10
Professional "rifle" directional microphone
For every sound engineer
The NP10 is a professional "rifle" condenser microphone (so-called shotgun microphone) with a super-cardioid characteristic. This premium device is suitable for broadcast, film, television and audio production. It is constructed of a solid brass body, boasting extremely low noise and a flat frequency response curve. Gold-plated XLR connector ensures high-quality transmission of the scanned signal.
Highly sensitive sensor
The NP10 directional microphone uses interfero-tube technology, so it is very sensitive to the sound picked up in that direction. It can effectively attenuate off-axis sounds, which means it's focused on capturing a clear audio signal right in front of it, while reducing incoming noise from the side and back of the microphone.
Balanced frequency response
Thanks to the ideal flat frequency response curve, the NP10 naturally and accurately picks up all audible sound in the human hearing range of 40 Hz - 16 kHz.
Ultra low noise level
The microphone has a self-noise level of 12 dB (A-weighting) and 24 dB (CCIR 268-3), the signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) is 80 dB. Thus, all signals can be transmitted at maximum volume while reducing background noise.
Brass body and copper case
The NP10 has a high-quality and durable brass body, which provides high protection against interference and perfectly guides the sound to the sensor housed in a copper housing. It is ideal for recording in a demanding environment. Thanks to the black non-reflective finish, it is also suitable for formal occasions.
Gold-plated XLR connector
The universal gold-plated XLR connector has excellent signal transmission stability and is resistant to external interference. You can connect the NP10 to cameras and recorders via a standard XLRM-XLRF audio cable br />
