Model kit of the well-known German school slope glider SG38 Schulgleiter in 1: 4 scale in bulk. The all-wood construction model is precisely processed in a 1: 4 scale, has parts made of light plywood and balsa, and metal parts and accessories are included. Previous modeling practice is recommended.
The Schulgleiter SG 38 was the most widespread school glider of all time. It was flown in 1938 and became the basic type for pilot training. The usual method of discharge was a rubber rope on the slope. Due to the fact that the training was carried out exclusively on a separate flight, the aircraft had to be very stable and also easy to repair. In total, around 10,000 pieces of various versions were produced. After the war, we still had enough SG38 Germans, who incorporated aeroclubs into their status. Because the hunger for these school gliders was great, in 1946 a hundred-series series was made in Letňany. Here they were manufactured under the new type designation Šk-38 Komár.
