Explosive Kittens: Lite Edition

Exploding Kittens by Elan Lee (XBOX, ARGs), Matthew Inman (The Oatmeal) and Shane Small (XBOX, Marvel) is the most successful game ever on Kickstarter, changing the history of crowdfunding campaigns in 2015 when it was launched over 219,000 people contributed.

Explosive Kittens is an extremely strategic version of Russian Roulette (only with kittens). Players draw cards until someone licks the explosive kitty, explodes, dies and is eliminated from the game. Other cards give you the ability to manipulate explosive kittens, defend against them, and generally stay out of their way. So they are not just a card game based on the random shuffling of cards, but give space to your strategic imagination with many ways of playing moves, such as looking into the future (at the three upcoming cards in the pack) or the possibility of taking a card from the opponent (with twos or threes of the same cards).

This casual version of the game is a spicier version of the standard Explosive Kittens, intended for adults aged 18 and up. It contains the full version of Explosive Kittens, but the graphics of the individual cards have been altered and are so terrible (or great, depending on your taste) that it simply cannot be part of the standard edition of Explosive Kittens.

By adding another game pack (from the classic version of Explosive Kittens or another more basic version), you can increase the number of players up to 9.
