UR cleaning cup for ball bearings

This is a top accessory for cleaning bearings. The sealable bottle for cleaning bearings is intended for cleaning all bearings.

Cleaning procedure:

Open the bottle, place the bearings inside, fill the Ultimate Bearing Cleaning unit about 1/3 full with the cleaning solution and close the cap tightly. Agitate the unit gently to mix the cleaning solution. Shake for about 30 seconds or until you are sure the bearings are completely cleaned.

Recommendation:

If you are going to use a solvent, we recommend carefully removing the non-contact rubber shield of the bearing. Do not clean the rubber shields with any solvent, as some solvents can blister the rubber and destroy its fit on the bearing. Wipe them gently with a clean cloth or use soapy water. If you decide to use soapy water, make sure you dry the shields completely before putting them back on the bearing.

Once the bearings are clean and dry, the next step is to lubricate them. Apply two drops of grease to each bearing and rotate the bearing between your fingers to distribute the grease throughout the bearing. If you have ceramic, only one drop of lubricant is enough.

The next step is to put on the rubber shields. They should slide into place with little force. Occasionally, a wrinkle appears on the inner edge of the orbits. To get rid of it, simply run your thumb over it. Now the bearing is ready for further use.
