Faithful replica of a V8 engine in 1:4 scale. This eight-cylinder engine is also known by the name "Boxer". In the beginning, it was mainly used in racing. Later, it was also used in upper middle class and luxury cars. The first such known V8 engine was produced in 1904 by the French company Antoinette for use in aircraft. The Cadillac L-Head from 1914 - 1935 is considered to be the first V8 car engine.
