This economical, reliable little T3 transporter has been manufactured since 1979. The completely refurbished car with its practical modern shape was visibly more spacious than its predecessors. The last type with the rear engine, made by VW, was considered the last true "bully". The 4-cylinder engine offers 50 to 112 horsepower brakes per version. As usual, the transporter appeared in various versions of commercial vehicles and also in the form of a caravan for private purposes. Especially the successful version of "Joker" from Westfalia in Gütersloh, with which VW has been cooperating since 1950, enjoyed great glory. The Westphalian Joker was exceptionally well suited as a multifunctional car to travel to work, routine everyday use, and long holiday trips. More than 70,000 pieces of this "house on wheels" have been sold, which shows great popularity both at home and abroad. Its comfortable living area with driver's cab has a separate complete kitchen unit, seats and beds, storage chambers and a practical rising roof.
