The Spektrum Smart S150 1x50W AC / DC charger offers very simple and safe charging of Smart batteries. The charger is supplied with a 20V 3A power supply, after connecting the battery, the charger is automatically set optimally and starts charging the battery. Charging power up to 50W.
Spektrum Smart chargers virtually eliminate problems with charging LiPol batteries. This is possible thanks to the integrated microchip that is integrated in each Smart battery, which communicates with your Smart charger and automatically determines the best setting of charging parameters. Connect the battery to the charger and press Start. The charger indicates the battery type, charging status and current via LEDs.
When used with Spektrum Smart batteries with an IC3 ™ or IC5 konektor connector, the S150 charger reads the charging data from the integrated memory chip of each battery. This kit-specific data will help you evaluate battery status and speed up charging, as the S150 can automatically read this data and immediately set the correct charging parameters.
The charger is powered from the included mains power supply. sources 7 to 32 V. The source has a voltage of 20V at the output and supplies a current of max. 3A. This must be taken into account when charging a larger battery. The charger charges max. 4S LiPol, LiHV or LiFe batteries or NiMh cells. The charger is designed for Smart batteries with an IC3 connector, but it can also be used for standard batteries with an EC3 connector.
LED status indication
The charger indicates 3 values - battery, charging status and current, using LEDs. On the left side is a type of LiHV, LiPol, LiFe or NiMH battery. The middle part shows the shape of the battery cell, it has 4 values of the state of charge. The right side determines the current flowing: 0.5A, 1A, 3A and 5A.
Efficient cooler
On the back of the charger is a 5.5mm DC power connector, a data connector and a large efficient heatsink fan.

On the front of the charger is the output connector IC3 and the balancer connector 2S-4S.
