If you're used to the high performance and superior quality and reliability of OS engines, you'll be pleased that you can now enjoy the same benefits with AC electric motors! They have been developed and designed to set a "gold standard" for electric drive as well as the rule for their methyl or petrol counterparts. 80 years of experience with OS developers ensures that even new electric motors offer the same legendary quality and reliability.
AC motors are characterized by an integrated ventilation system that improves their efficiency and allows them to operate at a higher current load to give more power. A key element of this system is a unique, revolutionary fan that draws air through specially shaped ventilation openings, windings and magnets for significantly better cooling.
AC motors have a robust, deformation-limiting design, solid stainless steel shafts mounted in high-quality bearings, rigid and safe rear mounting system with precision propeller propulsion.
Thanks to their high torque, the OS motors are suitable for direct propulsion of large propellers without the need for a gearbox, which ensures very good efficiency of the entire drive.
