KAVAN PRO motors are high-performance brushless fourteen-pole electric motors with a rotating casing ("outrunner") with excellent electrical properties, sophisticated construction and top-quality manufacturing. Shafts made of hardened steel and high-quality bearings ensure a long service life, quality materials used for the manufacture of the stator and rotor also guarantee excellent performance parameters with high efficiency. They are low-speed, high-torque engines that handle large-diameter propellers and climbs without the need for a gearbox.

CAVAN FOR 2830-900
The KAVAN PRO 2830-900 is a small AC motor designed to drive small models with a flight weight of up to 850 g and powered by a three- to four-cell LiPo battery. Perfect for Dumas park flyers and SIG/HERR models with a span of 1000-1200 mm. They are more suitable for motor gliders, 3D models and slower motor models, where a larger diameter propeller with a lower number of revolutions works better.
Engine Mounting: The KAVAN PRO 2830-900 is designed for both front and rear mounting. For front mounting behind the engine face, use at least two (opposite) or four M3 screws that extend into the engine face within 3 - 4 mm. The engine bulkhead should be 2-2.5mm aircraft grade plywood. The rear mounting kit (mounting cross, rear mounting propeller carrier) is supplied with the engine.
