Extreme Flight rotating casing AC electric motors are designed to ensure the "star" performance of your 3D aerobatic aircraft. "Stellar" performance in Extreme Flight means a power ratio of 550 W per kilogram of model weight or more. With the right choice, installation and proper setup, Extreme Flight engines will reliably give you this performance.

The XPWR 30cc V2 is ideal for powering 3D aerobatic models with a flight weight of 4700-5200 g, such as the Extreme Flight models with a range of 74-75 ”.

XPWR 30cc V2 requires the use of an electronic speed controller with a load capacity of at least 80-90 A, a 12S LiPo battery with a capacity of 3000-3700 mAh with a load capacity of at least 40C is ideal for power supply.

Propeller selection and operating temperature: As with internal combustion engines, the cooling of AC electric motors is critical, especially if you are flying in hot weather. We recommend placing deflectors in the engine cover of your model directing the air flow directly at the engine. Also provide cooling air outlets with a sufficient cross-section (at least 2-3 times the cross-section of the inlet openings). To make the most of the motor's capabilities, it is essential not to guess, but to really measure - both the current consumption and the operating temperature of the motor. The maximum permissible operating temperature of the electric motor is 80 ° C (measured on its surface) - exceeding this value can quickly cause damage or complete destruction of the motor. The engine warms up depending on its power load - the larger the propeller and the longer it runs at full throttle in flight, the more the engine warms up. The recommended dimensions of the propellers are given in a certain range - the largest propeller is designed for 3D flying, where full throttle is used briefly and intermittently. If you fly in a sporty style in which the engine runs at full throttle or high power for most of the flight time (classic acrobatics, warbird models, etc.) , select the smallest recommended propeller. It is up to you not to allow the engine to overheat and to choose the propeller that suits your specific application and way of flying. However, if you need to lower the engine temperature, use a smaller propeller.

Recommended propellers with 12S LiPo: 18x10 ", 19x8", 20x8 "

Calculate a peak current of 80 A for 3D flying with a peak power of approx. 3000 W. Note: This applies to 3D flying, where the use of full throttle is intermittent.

Engine set includes: XPWR 30cc V2 engine, rear mounting kit, instructions.
