AXI 2220/12 Cyclone KV1200

AXI Cyclone engines have a completely new concept - based on AXI V2 Long engines, but their rotary casing is enclosed in the outer casing, eliminating installation problems in confined spaces in the engine glider hulls. The risk of contacting the rotating casing with cables or other parts of the model is completely excluded. As with AXI V2 Long engines, a special internal design with an integrated turbine airflow cooling system is used to keep the motor winding cooler. The front face is conically elongated for easy mounting in glider hulls of small bow diameter.

The robust and reliable AXI 2814 / xx Cyclone high performance AC motors with rotating casing and neodymium magnets have a 5 mm diameter hardened shaft housed in three ball bearings for very good mechanical stability in both normal and reverse mounting. The AXI 2814 / xx Cyclone motor rotors are exported on state-of-the-art dynamic balancing by Schenck. High-quality Japanese bearings, supplied to the Cyclone engines, are characterized by increased durability and quiet operation.

The AXI 2814 / xx Cyclone Series engines, thanks to their high torque, are suitable for direct propulsion of large propellers without the need for a gearbox, which ensures very good efficiency of the entire drive.

AXI 2814/20 Cyclone is a brushless motor designed to drive models with a flight weight of up to 1900 g with power from a three-cell or four-cell Li-poly battery. Perfectly suited for lightweight thermal gliders up to 2500 mm - models with a large-diameter, low-speed propeller. / p>

Engine Mounting: AXI 2814/20 Cyclone is designed for front mounting. Use four M3 bolts that fit into the motor face within 4-5 mm. Engine bulkhead should be 4-5 mm aviation plywood.
