Original information:
A-6 Intruder entered service in the mid-1960s as a land-based aircraft launching from aircraft carriers to replace obsolete machines such as the A-1 Skyraider and A-3 Skywarrior. Grumman Corporation has developed the A-6A model, based on US Navy specifications. It was a mid-twelfth jet-jet airplane in any weather that could operate from American aircraft carriers. "Intruder" was characterized by its robust hull and by the arrangement of a pilot cabin in which two seats were placed side by side - one for the pilot and one for the gun officer. The A-6E then featured the best version of Intruder with enhanced avionics and attack systems, especially in the variant called TRAM, which was the acronym of the laser targeting system name, which made it much more effective in mission-time missions and was truly deadly in detection and attacks on enemy targets. In addition, she carried on her winged pylons an impressive attack arsenal like conventional bombs, laser-guided Paveway bombs, anti-bullet missiles or HARM missiles. This machine has actively participated in missions in Operation Desert Storm, from which it has started from ground bases and aircraft carriers of the US Navy.
