The purpose of the JSF Joint Strike Fighter was to develop a new fifth-generation combat multi-purpose airplane capable of replacing existing US and NATO forces. A development team led by Lockheed Martin, who created a single-engine single-engine F-35 Lightning II, was set up. He has the "invisible" technology of stealth, the trapezoidal wing and state-of-the-art hi-tech materials and avionics. In its development, it was intended to be deployed in action to gain airborne predominance, provide close support even in attacks on ground targets. It was designed in different configurations.
