Original information:
The S-3 Viking is a standard US Marine anti-submarine aircraft used since the mid-1970s. This large twin-jet aircraft is equipped with state-of-the-art electronics for the control of naval missions and surveillance in close contact with ships and helicopters in charge of protecting aircraft carriers. Viking II has a long range capability to refuel during flight to ensure long tracking time during missions. In addition, the Viking II can carry a lot of material in its large cargo space: torpedoes, depth charges and a huge number of buoys to receive underwater signals.
