    Aero C-3B 'Czechoslovak Bomber-Trainer' 1/48

The Siebel Si 204A and Si 204D were transport and training versions of the twin-engine aircraft, built for Lufthansa and mainly for the Luftwaffe. During the war, a training bomber version was also constructed, which could also be used as a night bomber. It was designated Si 204E and was produced in two prototypes and a small series Si 204E-0. It was used in combat for night raids, including against the Slovak National Uprising. Production continued in Czechoslovakia after the war. Aero C-3B bombers, as the airplanes were designated in Czechoslovakia, were incomparably more important for Czechoslovak aviation. At first they were counted only for training. But the communist coup in February 1948 meant the end of the possibility of buying quality aircraft from the West and the end of the supply of spare parts for the Mosquita bomber and other aircraft. In addition, the communists began to megalomaniacally build an oversized army, including an air force, similar to other countries of the communist bloc. But these countries were not able to produce modern airplanes, and neither was the Soviet Union able to supply them. The obsolete 'Síbles' thus formed the backbone of the bomber air force until the delivery of Soviet jet bombers in 1955.
The model contains nine moldings made of gray plastic, two frames of clear parts and decals for three machines of the Czechoslovak Air Force.
