GERMAN PANZER IV/70(A)
DESCRIPTION
In 1944, at the end of World War II, the German Army attempted to improve the firepower of the German tank, and based on this plan, the German Panzer IV/70(A) was developed. In order to shorten the development as much as possible, the hull was based on the German tank Panzerkampfwagen IV Ausf. J, which was in production at the time, combined with a fixed fighting compartment with the L/70 7.5 cm main gun IV/70(V) Lang. The Panzer IV/70(A) also had stiff wire mesh panels called Thoma Schürzen. A total of around 280 units were produced and were used on both the Eastern and Western fronts.
Tamiya has faithfully captured the German Panzer IV/70(A) in every detail! It comes in 1/35 scale and is sure to appeal to military history buffs and modelers from around the world!
