The Regia Aeronautica included Fiats in its armament before the outbreak of war. The first version was already tested at the end of the civil war in Spain. The G.50bis version responded to the lagging of Italian fighters against the enemy's modern fighters. In order to be able to use the Fiats in battle, some machines were equipped with a pair of hangers under the wing. At the same time, the deployment of Fiat G.50bis on aircraft carriers under construction (and never delivered) was being prepared. Aquila and Sparviero. A navalized version of the G.50bis/N, equipped with a landing hook, was being prepared for these ships.
The model consists of four frames of plastic parts, an injection-molded cabin cover, detailed 3D printed and resin parts including an excellent Fiat A.74 engine, etchings and masks imitating the reinforced plates of the marine version. It is possible to build either a fighter-bomber or a prototype of the navalized version of the G.50bis/N.

Unassembled plastic model in 1/48 scale

The highly detailed model is made of light gray plastic. An easy-to-understand construction manual is included with the model. Use plastic model glue to glue the model.
