In total, about 33,000 examples of the Messerschmitt BF-109 were built. The aircraft with its distinctive appearance was mainly used as a fighter aircraft by the German air force. The first flight took place in 1935, and series production began in 1936. The machine was constantly improved over time, which is why various variants were subsequently created. Due to its all-metal construction and excellent flight characteristics, the ME-109 is one of the most frequently built aircraft in history.

Amewi BF-109 from the Cartoon Fighter series impresses not only with its playful appearance, but also with its flight characteristics. The electronics have 6G stabilization, which makes the aircraft suitable for both beginners and advanced pilots. Cartoon BF-109 is controlled via all axes (ailerons, elevator, engine). It flies in 6G (Gyro) mode in a self-stabilizing manner - which also prevents any stalling. If the pilot has sufficient flight experience, he can easily switch to 3D mode using the remote control to perform flips, twists or backflips in dynamic aerobatics. If the aircraft unexpectedly enters turbulence, you can quickly switch back to gyroscopic mode for auto-stabilization (a rescue function) with the push of a button. The receiver also enables operation with, for example, Futaba or other 5V S-Bus receivers as well as DSM receivers with 3V output. This means that the model can also be flown with existing remote controls. It comes in RTF (Ready-to-Fly) version, includes a remote control, LiPo battery and a suitable USB charger. It only takes a few minutes to assemble the model - and the AMXFlight Cartoon BF-109 is ready to take off.
