KAVAN topcoat POLY, 100ml

Top covering glossy polyurethane varnish for wood, covering papers and canvas resistant to the effects of burning fuel and gasoline. It remains elastic and ensures high resistance to weather effects and mechanical damage (impacts, scratches, etc.). For brush or roller application, suitable for aircraft and ship models.

Application: Thin the varnish as needed with KAVAN POLY Thinner; apply to upholstery or wooden parts with a soft flat brush or roller. One layer is usually enough; the surface dries after 1-2 hours, always let the coating dry for at least 24 hours.

Removing excess undried varnish: A cloth or paper napkin moistened with KAVAN POLY Thinner.

Lacquer dilution: Lacquer is supplied in a concentrated form, depending on the need and method of application, it can be diluted with KAVAN POLY Thinner in any ratio to achieve the optimal consistency for application. With greater dilution, it may be necessary to apply several layers to ensure reliable protection of the substrate.

Suitable for: Top covering glossy layer of lacquered covering papers and canvases, impregnation of wooden parts of model airplanes and ships against moisture. POLY topcoat can be safely applied to a substrate coated with STANDARD, COLOR and CLASSIC KAVAN varnishes, the last layer of which was not applied earlier than 24 hours ago. If the substrate is painted with other paint materials, we strongly recommend that compatibility with POLY topcoat be tested outside the model in advance.

Not suitable for: materials not resistant to organic solvents (foamed polystyrene, etc.).

Mixing the varnish: The varnish cannot be mixed with other colors or varnishes. For thinning, use only KAVAN POLY thinner - due to the different composition, it is not possible to use KAVAN CLASSIC or STANDARD series thinners.

Addition of model weight: 10 ml of undiluted varnish adds about 4.3 g to the weight of the model.

Storage: In tightly closed packaging, in a cool, dry and dark place (at a temperature of 15°C to 25°C). Do not expose to temperatures below 5°C and in no case to frost.

Durability: If the conditions of proper storage are observed, we guarantee a shelf life in the original, unopened package for 1 year while maintaining the above-mentioned product properties.
