Activator/accelerator for instant (cyanoacrylate) adhesives in aerosol packaging. It is used to accelerate the curing of instant adhesives in conditions unfavorable for their natural curing (reaction with air humidity or water contained in the glued parts) in a dry environment, in the cold, when gluing inactive materials or when applying a strong amount of glue. The product contains its own component that activates the polymerization of instant glue, volatile solvents and propellant gas (propane/butane). For this reason, it must not be used when bonding materials that are not resistant to organic solvents (e.g. polystyrene foam).
Application: The activator is applied from a distance of 20-25 cm to clean and dry surfaces, the optimal working temperature range is +10°C to +30°C. You can apply it in one of two basic ways:
- Small parts: Apply the activator to one glued area and let it dry (remains active for several hours). Then apply instant glue to the other contact surface and attach the parts.
- Large parts: Apply instant adhesive to one joint, press the parts together and spray the joint with activator.
Suitable for: instant adhesives when bonding materials resistant to organic solvents.
Not suitable for: polystyrene foam and other materials that are not resistant to organic solvents or elevated temperature (during the accelerated polymerization of the glue, a significant amount of heat can be released leading to heating of the glued joint and its surroundings - the greater the more glue was used).
Storage: in tightly closed packaging, in a cool, dry and dark place (at a temperature of +5°C to +25°C). Do not expose to temperatures below +2°C.
Durability: If the conditions of proper storage are observed, we guarantee durability in unopened original packaging for a period of 1 year while maintaining the above-mentioned product properties.
