Super strong, crystal clear, universal contact adhesive based on polyurethane rubber, resins and solvents.

Fields of application
Ideal for bonding many transparent materials, such as plexiglass, perspex (cast acrylic sheets), polycarbonate (Lexan bodies) . It also combines (synthetic) leather, vinyl, soft PVC, cork, canvas, textiles and many rigid and soft synthetic materials including PVC, ABS and polystyrene. Very suitable for repairing items such as shoes, bags, toys, book covers, name tags and for creating (hobby) crafts. Ideal for gluing PVC backing films. Not suitable for polystyrene foam (Tempex®), polyethylene (PE) and polypropylene (PP).

Working conditions: Only glue the adhesive and parts at room temperature. The relative humidity must be below 65%. This prevents the formation of bubbles in the final product. Once connected, adjustment is no longer possible. First test (for inconspicuous) on a part of the surface.

Surface requirements: Surfaces must be dry, clean, free of dust and grease and fit well. Clean and degrease bonded surfaces for optimal results.
Pre-surface treatment: For optimal results, degrease first.
Tools: Use a solid brush or glue spread with fine teeth (1 mm) to cover large surfaces. Use a roller or a rubber mallet to firmly join the materials.
application

Coverage: 2-2.5 m2 / liter, applied on both sides, depending on the nature of the bonded materials.
Instructions for use:

Stir well before use. It should not be diluted preferentially. Apply the adhesive evenly in a thin layer on both surfaces using a fine-toothed screed (1 mm) or a brush. Allow both surfaces to dry for 10 to 25 minutes. Once the glue stops flowing, attach the parts. Editing is no longer possible. Avoid trapping air bubbles. Tap, roll, or press firmly.
Press time (+ 20 ° C): Short. Pressure is more important than time.

Workability time: 10-25 minutes. The adhesive should be dry to the touch and the run-off should be stopped. The processing time depends on the porosity of the materials (the more porous, the faster the adhesive is absorbed, so the processing time is shorter) and the temperature (high temperature leads to faster evaporation of the solvent, so the shorter time).

Stains / Residues: Remove wet adhesive residues immediately with Bison Kit® Degreaser / Thinner. Dried excess adhesive can only be removed mechanically or with a paint remover (test first).

Note: For optimal results, both the adhesive and the bonded parts must be at room temperature (it must definitely not be used below + 10 ° C).
The final bond strength depends on the pressure used. Therefore, print as firmly as possible over the entire area. If the adhesive bond between porous materials is exposed to prolonged contact with water, the adhesive may separate from the wet surface.

Curing times

Final bond strength after: approx. 24 hours.
The curing time may vary depending on the surface, amount of product, humidity and ambient temperature.
