Characteristics

The AC motor with integrated regulator is a compact and powerful drive for your crawler or expedition RC model in 1:10 scale. The motor has a standard housing size of 550, so you can conveniently install it on models with limited space and save space for additional accessories thanks to the integrated controller.

FOC-controlled sensor technology gives the engine smooth start-up and precise operation , which is essential for expedition models. The combo also includes a neutral brake and is IP67-protected for demanding use. The controller has a powerful switching power supply BEC, sufficiently dimensioned for powerful servos used in shipping models. Use a 2-3S LiPo battery or 6-9 NiMH cells with IC3 / EC3 connectors for power supply.

Smooth running of the AC motor

Take advantage of the AC motor even for slower trial rides. The AC motor is very powerful, has no friction parts, is almost maintenance-free and has a very long service life. Thanks to the sensor design and precise electronics with FOC technology, the Spektrum brand has eliminated the negative properties of AC motors in the form of jerky operation at low speeds. This engine has a perfectly smooth start and smooth running even at the lowest speeds, while providing high torque.

Advanced brake adjustment in neutral

An essential feature of expedition and crawler models is the brake in neutral. The neutral brake on this drive can be precisely set according to the weight of the model and the actual load in the range of up to 200%. Even on the steepest slope, your RC model will always be firmly in place.

Waterproof * construction

Drive in any weather. The electronics are protected by IP67 protection and with proper engine maintenance you can embark on demanding conditions full of mud and water.

Programming

With the Spectrum programmer (V2 version required) you can easily change settings directly on the track according to driving conditions. The programmer can also be connected to a computer via USB and change settings via the PC Programmer application, or perform a possible component update.
