LiPol packages with Smart G2 soft case also contain inner metal side plates. These plates improve heat dissipation and provide greater protection for the cells from being punctured during a rough landing or impact.

As with other Smart batteries, you do not need to set your own Spektrum ™ Smart G2 battery charging preferences unless you want to change the parameters. When the Smart G2 LiPo battery is connected to the Spektrum ™ Smart charger, its unique charging parameters and health information are read into the charger from the integrated memory microchip.
