Mamba X controller
Castle Mamba is a controller designed for RC car models 1:10 or lighter models 1: 8. Power supply can be in the range of 2 to 6 LiPo cells, of course there is a waterproof construction. The controller can be used for both hobby and professional use. A novelty is the possibility of connecting a sensor motor, an additional input for changing the controller settings during the race or when driving from the crawler,
The controller allows to record measured data - current consumption, supply voltage, supply voltage ripple, BEC voltage, temperature and speed into memory. After the race or during the test drives, you can view this data on a computer and evaluate it.
The Castle Mamba X controller contains an integrated BEC source capable of supplying a current of 8 A, the voltage can be set in the range of 5.25 to 8.0 V.
New series of X controllers from Castle Creations for RC car models
Castle Creations has launched a completely new range of controllers marked with the letter X. These are the XL X controller for RC car models 1: 5, Mamba Monster X for RC cars 1: 8 and Mamba Micro for RC cars 1:16 - 1:18 . This new X-Series has the following common features:
- Waterproof construction of the regulator - electronics is encapsulated in a special potting compound
- Restored support for sensor motors, which are important in increasingly popular crawlers
- Adjustable voltage value of the BEC source - you can fully use both standard and High Voltage servos
- New waterproof switch for reliable switching on and off of the controller
- Thanks to the use of a more powerful microcontroller, the engine runs even better, and data logging is now enabled
- The controller is equipped with a secondary input, thanks to which you can change any of these parameters while driving using the free channel of the transmitter, see below.
- Of course, it is possible to program the basic parameters of the controller using a transmitter or programming card. Complete programming options are available in Castle Link for PC.
- More powerful BEC power supply for reliable power supply of powerful servos in the model
- The controllers can record the most important measured data - voltage, speed, etc. You can then view the measured plant data on a computer and evaluate it.

Possibilities of using the secondary input AUX2 - white wire
- Gas power limitation - you can limit the maximum engine power. An ideal choice for cases where the RC car is driven by children or less experienced riders.

- Brake power limitation - you can use the transmitter to limit the maximum brake power - an ideal choice for Crawler races

Detachable cables to the receiver and sensor of the sensor motors
The cables leading to the receiver and to the sensor are connected to a gold-plated connector. This solution offers the possibility of adapting the cabling for your RC car exactly according to your ideas. If the cables are damaged in an accident, you can easily replace them. Cables to the receiver and sensor can be purchased as spare parts. The connector for connecting the sensor motor is fitted with a blanking plug from the factory. If you decide to use sensor motors, you need to slide the plug out of the connector. Simple and extremely reliable solution!
