    AC Motor Design 1406

    Castle introduces a completely new range of sensor motors. Especially high efficiency and advantageous use of sensor regulator from zero speed is an advantage . Sensor motors can also be recommended for slow-moving models, such as crawlers or expedition RC models.

    The stator (fixed outer part of the engine) is composed of mutually isolated 0.2 mm thick iron sheets. The stator winding is impregnated against moisture and is defined by a special potting compound. The winding outlets are made up of massive tapes to which you can solder outlets in the optimum direction - depending on the model.

    The rotor (rotating internal part of the motor) is made of hardened steel shaft, in which neodymium magnets are glued. To increase strength, the rotor is embedded with a Kevlar fabric and a two-component adhesive. An additional set of 4 magnets is used to measure the rotor position. The rotor is defined between the bearings by a leaf spring in the form of a ring.

    There are high-quality ball bearings in the aluminum fronts, the Hall sensor of the rotor sensing and the temperature sensor for measuring the internal temperature of the motor in the rear face.

    Castle Mamba X Controller

    Electronic Controller Castle Mamba X Castle Mamba is a controller designed for RC car models 1:10 or lighter models 1: 8. Power can be in the range of 2 to 6 cells LiPo, of course there is a waterproof construction. The controller can be used for both hobby and professional use. A novelty is the possibility of connecting a sensor motor, an additional input to change the controller settings during the race or when riding from a crawler or shipping models.

    The controller allows to record measured data - current consumption, supply voltage, ripple of supply voltage, voltage BEC, temperature and speed to memory. After the race or during test rides, you can view this data on your computer and evaluate it.

    The Castle Mamba X controller features an integrated BEC source capable of delivering up to 8 A of current, and can be adjusted in the range of 5.25 to 8.0 V.

    • Gas output limitation - you can limit the maximum engine power. An ideal choice for when an RC car is driven by children or less experienced riders.

    Removable cables to sensor and sensor motor sensors

    The cables leading into the receiver and into the sensor are connected to the gilded connector. This solution offers the possibility to customize the cabling for your RC car exactly to your liking. If the cables are damaged in an accident, you simply replace them. Cables to both the receiver and the sensor can be purchased as a spare part. The sensor motor connector is fitted with a blanking plug. If you choose to use sensor motors, you need to remove the plug from the connector. Simple and most reliable solution!

    The replacement cable for the receiver has the order number CC-011-0106-00, the cable for connecting the sensors of the sensor AC motors to the RC cars has the order number CC-011-0108-00.
