Free-flying kite made of virtually indestructible polyolefin foam (EPO) for everyone. You can prepare your son-in-law for a flight in a minute, no glue is needed. Just slide the wing and the horizontal tail surface into the cutouts in the fuselage, stick pre-cut self-adhesive decals - you throw the model and it's already flying. Thanks to the indomitable toughness and "rubbery" character of EPO foam, it will give you or your branches a lot of work to destroy it.
If minor glide tuning is required, you can help by carefully bending the tail of the fuselage or moving the load inside the cab. (The cab can be removed by carefully prying it out with a thin flat object - such as a nail file, popsicle stick - inserted into the joint on the side.) The illustrative pictorial instructions on the box will tell you everything in great detail.
Nowadays, of course, converting the Zeta to RC control and electric propulsion is not an insurmountable problem - for example, using electronics and an engine from a flying Mini Bee, Sky Eagle or other miniature RC System or Nine Eagles models.
