RUSTED DRAGOUNI
Although dragons' regiments in Russia were originally called "units of a foreign model," they became a valuable successor to the military units in the spirit of the Russian military tradition. Since the time of Peter I, the Dragons of the Russian Army have excelled in their abilities and vigor. It is no wonder, therefore, that one of the first two cavalry regiments, which received the Order of St. George, the Chernigov Dragons regiment.
