Aeropoxy laminating epoxy 300ml

Aeropoxy is a thin two-component resin for laminating wooden / balsa wings, hulls, etc. It increases surface hardness and overall structural strength. It is very resistant to fuel, including gasoline. Apply with brush. After 12 hours, an additional layer can be applied, full curing is achieved after 24 to 36 hours

The brush can then be cleaned in Brush Magic or in alcohol.

Method of use

1. The surface must be clean and dry. If there are cracks or unevenness in the surface, fill them with putty and sand them. Laminating epoxy is thin and it is not possible to compensate for large unevennesses, depressions, wide cracks and the like.
2. Cut the glass fabric with sufficient overlap.
3. Mix the required amount of epoxy from 3 parts resin and 2 parts hardener in a weight ratio. Mix thoroughly.
4. First apply a layer of epoxy to the laminated surface with a brush.
5. Place the fabric on the surface and straighten it with a brush or other tool.
6. You can tear off excess epoxy with a spatula or wipe it off with a cloth.
7. Allow to dry for 12 hours and then apply the final layer of Aeropoxy. After curing (24 to 36 hours) sand the surface with sandpaper of 400. Now the surface is ready to be coated with foil or for dyeing.
