High-performance drone  
The new waterproof and dustproof DJI Matrice 4D drone is specially designed for DJI Dock 3. It offers extended flight time and the ability to be used independently with the DJI RC Plus 2 Enterprise controller. The drone is equipped with a wide-angle camera, a medium telephoto lens, a telephoto lens and a laser rangefinder. The 4D matrix is ideal for professional high-precision mapping and detailed surface inspection.

Low noise and anti-icing  
The 4D and 4TD matrices are equipped with low-noise propellers as standard with anti-icing. These propellers enable stable flight even in freezing rain and prevent power outages caused by icing. In addition, the quiet design reduces noise during operation.

Wind resistance
The Matrice 4D and 4TD drones demonstrate excellent flight performance even in winds of up to 12 m/s, ensuring stable takeoff, landing and air endurance of up to 32 minutes.

Longer flight time and robust protection
A fully charged Matrice 4D/4TD provides up to 47 minutes of flight time at a speed of 15 m/s, which means 37% more operating time. At a radius of 10 km, it allows operation for 18 minutes. Both models are designed for demanding conditions and meet the IP55 standard for protection against dust and water.

Obstacle detection for safe operation
The obstacle detection module combines LiDAR and millimeter wave radar technology. It ensures precise obstacle avoidance up to 12 mm in size at speeds up to 15 m/s. It works exceptionally well when flying over high-voltage power lines and improves navigation in low light. If the drone or obstacle detection module is damaged due to the failure of this function, DJI will provide official compensation free of charge.

High performance in low light

The Matrice 4D drones have four highly sensitive wide-angle lenses with improved visual navigation in low light. The new night mode provides full-color night vision.  

Stable image and detailed images  
The medium telephoto camera is suitable for medium-length inspections, such as detecting damaged insulators or cracks at a distance of 10 m. The 48 MP telephoto camera can capture details from up to 250 m. The Matrice 4TD drone allows the gimbal to tilt 80 degrees upwards, which allows inspection of the lower parts of bridges.  

High-precision mapping  
The Matrice 4D supports 5-way oblique imaging and 3-way orthophotography. The real terrain tracking function adapts the flight altitude to the mapping requirements. DJI FlightHub 2 has been enhanced for the Matrice 4D/4TD with various flight path planning options such as Smart 3D Capture, geometric and slope paths.

Effective operation in difficult terrain  
The Matrix 4D can be controlled using the DJI RC Plus 2 Enterprise remote controller or use the aerial repeater function. One drone can hover as a transmission point while the other operates at greater distances, which greatly extends the range and allows for effective operation in mountainous areas without 4G signal.
